You Want to Donate A Car: Jewish Organizations Want It

Posted on Friday 29 August 2008

Donated autos make a world of different to various Jewish organizations. The money that is raised from a car donation can put food on the table for needy families, provide education for students or contribute to helping Israel.

Here are some examples of Jewish organizations that welcome donated vehicles:

* Jewish Community Centers: Jewish Community Centers (JCCs) provide sports, recreation, social and education opportunities in their communities.
* Jewish National Fund: The Jewish National Fund (JNS) provides education on and advocacy for the State of Israel. For over 100 years, JNS has been raising funds and advocating for Israel.
* Chabad: The Chabad – Lubavitch movement is a branch of Chasidim or orthodox Jewry. It believes in guiding people through wisdom, comprehension and knowledge.
* Jewish Family Service: Jewish Family Service (JFS) provides all kinds of help to families. It has programs that focus on domestic abuse, mental illness, adoption, foster parenting, helping people with disabilities and services for senior citizens.

Donated Autos Help These Organizations

All of these organizations need money in order to fulfill their missions. Most of these groups welcome people from any faith that wish to learn more about them, take part in their programs or who need their assistance. For these reasons, many of these groups are prominent organizations in their local communities. It is, therefore, important to support them. If you do then the whole community will benefit from your generosity. So, if you want to donate a car, Jewish organizations are ready to receive it and put it to work for the community.
