Car Donations: Help People Learn New Skills

Posted on Thursday 4 September 2008

You might think your old derelict automobile isn’t suitable for charity car donation. Not necessarily true! Not only do cars get auctioned off for proceeds to a charity but there are other good reasons for donating a car as well.  Your donation could even help someone learn a new skill so they can have a better life as well as help the needy.

Charities don’t just provide people with food, they often follow the old proverb,

“Teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for life”.

Your car donation may seem very insignificant to you and maybe you feel a bit guilty about sending off your old car that’s been sitting in the garage for a year but that donation can teach a high school drop out or handicapped individual about auto mechanics so he or she can get more gainfully employed.

Your car may also be fixed up to help a family who is in desperate need of a car so the donation of your old “beater” could serve dual purposes.  Learn more about car charity donations at Cars Helping America.org.
