North Shore Community Action Programs
North Shore Community Action Programs' Family Emergency Shelter temporarily houses homeless families while they search for housing. In the last ten years 170 families obtained permanent, affordable housing. Also, shelter staff members link many of the parents with job training and other educational opportunities. Donating your car would assist families with basic needs such as winter clothes and new shoes for growing children, along with fees for education, training, and uniforms for work.
